The UEX-Winter 2019/2020: Two Trains per week to the Tyrolian Snow-Paradise

  • From Northern and Western Germany direct train connections to and from Tyrol every week

  • Cosy couchettes, from Hamburg also sleeping cars. Discounted tickets in the seating car

  • Relaxed atmosphere in the club car

  • Can also be booked as a motorail train on the Hamburg – Munich – Hamburg route

  • Trips to Zell am See can also be booked directly via UEX

Let´s go skiing with the Urlaubs-Express! Also in winter 2019/20 the “UEX” offers great train connections to the most beautiful winter sports areas in Austria. Whether a harmonious family holiday, wellness deluxe or après-ski – with the Urlaubs-Express (almost) everything is possible…

In the winter season we run two train pairs per week: The UEX Nord starts in Hamburg, the UEX-West in Münster (stops see below). Both have exits in Munich, Kufstein, Wörgl, Jenbach, Innsbruck, Ötztal and Laneck-Zams before ending in  the legendary St. Anton am Arlberg. In Wörgl there is a transfer connection to Zell am See (via Kirchberg, Kitzbühel, St. Johann and Saalfelden). Of course, the ticket for these connections is already included in the UEX price. As familiar to UEX guests, car transport is of course also available as an option on the Hamburg – Munich – Hamburg route.

You travel in comfortable couchettes. On the Hamburg – St. Anton route, sleeping cars will also be used. Depending on the date and route, you can also travel at a reduced price in a couchette car. As a special service, seat reservations are automatically included in all UEX trains at no extra cost!

On board there is food and drink as well as nice entertainment. In the evening you can get in the mood for your first day of holiday with delicious drinks and small snacks in our club cars in a cosy atmosphere with other guests or let the winter holiday end on the way back.

When you book your UEX ticket, you also have the option of booking breakfast. The price of 8,50 Euro includes a hot drink, 2 fresh rolls, margarine, jam, Nutella and sausage spread. So you start the day rested and strengthened.

Another highlight for our ski-train guests: Your bulky winter sports equipment such as skis or snowboards can travel with you in luggage compartments at no extra charge and does not take up any space in your booked compartment.
